The feline anthology sounds great, and I'm interested in submitting a story. I'm tied up on a project at the moment, so I'd like to know: what's the deadline?
Is there a publisher? Or, if it's a self-publication, may I ask about your plan for getting word out about this anthology?
And I presume you pay poetry at the same 1c/word you quote for fiction?
Seconding the questions asked here--self-pubbed or publisher? Deadline? Thanks!
We are starting a small e-publishing house.
How we plan on advertising the anthologies is as follows:
Through our e-zine,
YouTube
Twitter
Facebook
Writing.com
LiveJournal
MySpace
and submitting copies for reviews on other zines.
We will of course ask our contributors to do the same.
If anyone has any other ideas, I am open to ideas.
We will be on:
Kindle,
Ipad,
Sony's PRS line of e-book readers, Google's Book Search mobile edition,
and whatever else is out there.
Deadline posted.
Dear Manuel,
I hope to read you soon.
Mari
Thanks, Mari! Sorry, still don't see a deadline mentioned.
That's because you are quicker than me. Look again. I had to get in contact with my co-editor to make sure the dates were right.
Thanks, Mari; I should be able to get something in.
Sorry. I must be visually-impaired. I've looked through the comments and the guidelines and see no deadline listed. Where?
September 25, Toni.
Thank you. A couple of other other question: It says a space between paragraphs. Is it single spacing then rather than double for the paragraphs themselves? Also, do you want any info about previous publishing credits?
I would like more information regarding the coffee/chocolate beans anthology. Is there payment?
How does one submit? Thanks.
Teresa Leigh Judd
Yes, all the anthologies have the same rate of pay.
Submit stories, poems or art to: Aliceingoreland@yahoo.com
Place in subject line: SUBMISSION and which anthology you are submitting to.
Place it in the body of the email or as an attachment.
A double space between each paragraph makes it easier to read.
You can list your publishing credits in the body of the email as part of your bio if you like.
What I really care about is the story, poem or art itself.
Thanks for all the questions!
How will I know if you have received my submission? How long should I wait if I haven't heard back?
Dear Kate, If it has been over a week, please send it again. I'll read today and let you know.
Aliceingoreland@yahoo.com
Just to clarify -- this is not a print publication, correct? It's an e-anthology only?
I'll be sending my submission in any day now. :)
I would love to see it in print. But cost wise, epublication is the only way to go. If it goes really well, or there is a request, I am sure we can print it. At least I want one in paper.
This is a very big if, but IF my story were to be accepted, I would definitely be interested in paying for a printed copy. :)
Hello, is this closed to submissions? I ask because I came here from a site that still lists it as actively looking...
No we're open. Send us what you got!
